One Ticket Worth $20 Million Cash in Super 6 Jackpot Win

MIDDLETOWN--(Press Release)--June 26, 2000--Pennsylvania Lottery officials announce that one ticket matched all six winning numbers in Saturday night's Super 6 Lotto drawing that had a jackpot annuity value of $43 million.

The holder(s) of that winning ticket opted for the cash value of the jackpot, which totals $20,953,398.

Players have one year from the date of the drawing to claim their winning ticket. A claim for jackpot prizes must be filed at Pennsylvania Lottery headquarters in Middletown, Dauphin County. No one has come forward at this time to file a claim for Saturday night's Super 6 Lotto jackpot.

In addition to the top jackpot prize, 27 players matched five of six winning numbers in Saturday's drawing to receive $6,699 each. Matching four of six winning numbers garnered 3,045 players $55.50 each. An additional 84,415 players matched three of six winning numbers, receiving $2 each.

The Super 6 Lotto jackpot has been growing since one ticket match all six winning numbers in the March 29, 2000, drawing. Leo Michael Phillips, 37, of Allison Park, Allegheny County, had selected the annuity value of the Super 6 jackpot - $8,000,000. 06 - when he purchased his tickets for the March 29 drawing. Super 6 Lotto annuity jackpot prizes are paid in 26 equal installments.

The winning numbers in Saturday night's Super 6 Lotto drawing were 01-02-36-42-48-49. This Wednesday's Super 6 Lotto jackpot has an annuity value of $3 million and a cash value of $1.5 million.
