Oklahoma official sentenced for embezzlement23 April 2008OKLAHOMA -- As reported by the Oklahoma: "Louella Oldbear, 58, was sentenced Tuesday in federal court to one year in prison for embezzling about $17,000 in casino revenue from the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes. She also must repay the $17,000. "Oldbear was the secretary for former Cheyenne-Arapaho business committee member Roy D. Bullcoming, who also has been indicted in the ongoing federal investigation into mismanagement of casino funds. Oldbear's attorney argued she should receive probation because she answered to Bullcoming and wasn't an elected official.
