New York casino plan finds support19 February 2008NEW YORK -- As reported by the Mid-Hudson News: "State Senator William Larkin, who chairs the Senate Gaming and Racing Committee, says the new plans to redevelop the former Concord Hotel are a good idea. "Empire Resorts, which owns and operates Monticello Raceway and the racino in Monticello, plan to build new facilities at the Kiamesha Lake site of the former Concord Hotel in partnership with Louis Cappelli's Concord Associates. "The project will also include a hotel, conference center and a number of other amenities. "Larkin is confident that the project will work..." |
