Net Gambling System Selected; Free-Play Prizes to be Dropped

14 March 2002

SAN FRANCISCO -- WagerWorks Inc. of San Francisco said today it was selected by MGM MIRAGE of Las Vegas to develop its online casinos. Terms were not disclosed.

WagerWorks, has been the content and technology provider for MGM MIRAGE's online, fun-only prize site since its inception in March 2001.

WagerWorks said it completed the integration of its WagerWare with Orbis's OpenBet sportsbook system, which has also been selected by MGM MIRAGE.

WagerWorks said that in order to concentrate on the international expansion of its online gaming initiative, MGM MIRAGE will phase out the points program on May 1 for its U.S. prize gaming site at www.PLAYMGMMIRAGE.com.

Without wagering money, players can earn prizes depending on how long they play. The prizes include Las Vegas show tickets, room upgrades and buffet tickets.

The site will remain live and continue to offer online gaming content, however.
