Multimedia Games to Supply Chickasaw Nation's Gaming Operations3 June 2005AUSTIN, Texas -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Multimedia Games, Inc. (Nasdaq: MGAM) announced today that the Company's MGAMe(TM) System, a suite of software products including player tracking, cash and cage, and slot reporting tools, has been selected by the Chickasaw Nation for use in conjunction with the tribe's electronic gaming operations throughout the state of Oklahoma. The Chickasaw Nation (Chickasaws) currently operates sixteen gaming facilities and approximately 5,243 electronic gaming devices in Oklahoma. Prior to selecting the MGAMe System, the Chickasaws deployed Multimedia's Players Passport® player tracking system in four of its facilities. In addition, the Chickasaws have also deployed the Company's 3rd Party Gaming System (3PGS) module to link other vendors' machines with Multimedia's products. Later this month, the Chickasaws are expected to deploy Multimedia's MGAMe Cash and Cage module, which provides vault and cash tracking services, and the Slot Reporting module, which provides tools to analyze current and historical slot machine performance. Multimedia is also providing software in support of the tribe's Data Warehouse project, allowing the Chickasaws to aggregate gaming and player tracking information from all of their gaming sites in one central location. The installation at the Chickasaw Nation sites represents this system's largest deployment to date and Multimedia's first deployment of the MGAMe System modules in facilities containing both Class II and Oklahoma Compact games. The Chickasaw Nation selected Multimedia's products following an extensive review of available systems. It is expected that all electronic player terminals installed in Chickasaw gaming facilities will be utilizing Multimedia's MGAMe software over the next three to four months. Clifton E. Lind, Multimedia's President and CEO, commented, "Our relationship with the Chickasaw Nation extends back more than fifteen years, and during that time they have become one of our most significant customers in both the number of unit placements at their facilities and in revenues. We are pleased to be able to bring further value to this relationship in deploying our MGAMe system for their electronic gaming operations. The Chickasaw Nation's selection of our MGAMe System again validates our products as cost-effective, comprehensive, multi-site solutions for gaming operators. With this selection, and the recent choice of our player tracking system and redemption kiosks for deployment at Batavia Downs' video gaming facility in New York State, Multimedia continues to demonstrate the competitive strength of its technology, its ability to offer customers a full range of value-added products, and its commitment to diversifying revenue sources." Brian Campbell, CEO of Chickasaw Enterprises, said, "We are very pleased to continue to work with Multimedia with the installation of their casino software and support products. We ultimately selected Multimedia's solutions from the wide range of available product choices, because we determined that Multimedia's tools enhanced our ability to serve our customers by offering superior player relationship capabilities and a common currency, while optimizing many facets of our operations." Multimedia's proprietary MGAMe System technology solutions feature a suite of software tools casino operators need to increase revenues. The MGAMe System uses active player database software to analyze and optimize slot floors, to provide data for marketing programs, and to track and audit monetary transactions, thereby allowing the operator to configure casino floors to optimize their profitability. |
