From the press release: ue to the rapid escalation of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Morongo Casino Resort & Spa and Casino Morongo will remain temporarily closed until further notice. Like businesses across the state, we will continue to monitor and assess this ongoing international health crisis to determine when we may safely welcome back our guests and team members. The health, safety and well-being of our team members, guests, tribal members, and the community are always our top priority at Morongo. That commitment led us to voluntarily suspend operations at both properties on March 17 and to now extend those closures in recognition of the State of California’s current “Stay at Home” measures. Our latest announcement aligns with new measures from public health officials and updated projections about the pandemic’s impacts to California. Morongo continues to stand with federal, state and local officials and with tribes nationwide in a unified response to this global health emergency. We will keep our loyal guests and team members updated about this temporary closure as we all work together to keep our communities and our families healthy during this event. As much as we all look forward to a swift return to normalcy, we all must remember that great things take time.
