MOON Resort and Casino Releases Second Phase Plans20 February 2003VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(Press Release)-- Today, the MOON development team released further information regarding the highly anticipated MOON Resort and Casino project. This news comes following completion of the design of the second model which has been in its pre-production phase prior to construction in Vancouver BC. The second phase of MOON Resort and Casino will consist of an 18-hole championship golf course which, when completed, will be some 7,500 yards in length and capable of hosting a world-class PGA tournament. As with every aspect of MOON, the golf course will be very unique, with huge, towering viewing galleries surrounded by its own monorail system. The centerpiece will be a 250-ft sphere which will appear to float in its own moat. Housed within the huge glass sphere will be a private clubhouse, five-star restaurant, fitness center, indoor lap pool and spa. In addition, the sphere will house eighty, 4000-sqft luxuriously appointed condominiums available for purchase by discerning clientele. A vacation ownership element to MOON was also revealed today, with 2500 of the 10,000 hotel rooms being made available to guests who wish to own a small piece of this remarkable property. In total, 130,000 weeks will be offered and the MOON team is currently in discussion with certain well-respected global vacation ownership companies who will represent this portion of the project. Further detailed planning of the Casino portion of the project has established the number of gaming machines at 12,000 and the number of gaming tables at 600. The MOON Resort and Casino project continues to attract significant international media interest with features in Italy's Focus magazine's February edition and in the March edition of Wired magazine. "The entire MOON team offers our deepest sympathies to the families of the seven brave astronauts of the Space Shuttle Columbia. In addition we wish all at NASA the very best in these difficult times," said Michael R. Henderson, Creator of MOON. |
