Mikohn's Yahtzee Game Gets Mississippi Approval3 March 2003LAS VEGAS--(Press Release) -- Mikohn Gaming Corporation (Nasdaq:MIKN) today announced that the Mississippi Gaming Commission has confirmed that Mikohn's Yahtzee game on the UV1700 platform has successfully completed Phase 1 of the field trial. In the notification to Mikohn dated February 27, 2003, the Lab concluded that the gaming device performed satisfactorily and Mikohn is now granted approval to place the Yahtzee game throughout the state. "This approval represents a significant step forward for Mikohn and we anticipate approval of our game in the State of Mississippi following completion of the final phase of the field trial," said Michael Dreitzer, Vice President Compliance and Business Development. "We are pleased in the confidence that the lab has shown in our product, and are now in the process of submitting additional games and software related devices to Mississippi. We look forward to the proliferation of our games throughout the state".
