Mikohn's Systems Selected by Macau Casino

11 May 2004

LAS VEGAS -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Mikohn Gaming Corporation (NASDAQ: MIKN), a leading provider of diversified products and services used in the gaming industry worldwide, announced today that Galaxy Casino S.A. has chosen Mikohn's CasinoLink Slot Management and Enterprise Jackpot Systems as their slot accounting, progressive and mystery jackpot system for the Waldo Hotel and Casino, which is the first of 3 properties that Galaxy will operate in Macau.

CasinoLink is a uniquely diverse system that centrally controls linked progressives, linked mystery jackpots, overhead and in-machines LED displays and LCD/Plasma sign configurations, accounting, player tracking, and reporting/analysis with a high level of security and integrity. There is no other comprehensive integrated system available that offers the depth of options and security that is provided by CasinoLink.

Ciaran Carruthers of Galaxy Casino stated; "As Waldo is the first of our properties to open, we were desirous to identify a system that not only provided us with critical slot accounting information, but would also efficiently and securely manage all aspects of our mystery and progressive jackpot systems. Of additional importance was the ability to expand the system to multiple sites from one central location."

Added Roger Webber, Managing Director, Mikohn Australasia; "Macau is an exciting and important gaming market, and we are very pleased to be selected to provide our CasinoLink system suite for Galaxy's new property in such a highly competitive market. We look forward to a long relationship with Galaxy Casinos."

About Galaxy Casino S.A.: Galaxy Resort & Casino (Galaxy), one of the newest entrants into Macau's dynamic hospitality and gaming industry, will be operating multiple leisure and gaming facilities in Macau, including the Waldo Hotel scheduled to open in 2004; its first purpose-built property, the 5-star Galaxy StarWorld Hotel, which will incorporate the very best in design and state of the art leisure and gaming facilities, due to open in 2005; and a mega resort hotel in Cotai, planned to be developed in phases starting 2006.
