Mikohn Gaming Receives Approvals

LAS VEGAS -- (Press Release) -- Mikohn Gaming Corporation (NASDAQ: MIKN) today announced that it has received approval from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario to place Mikohn's BATTLESHIP Winning Encounter(TM) at racetracks throughout the province which utilize the CasinoLink(TM) casino management system. In addition, the Mississippi Gaming Commission has issued their approval of Mikohn's TRIVIAL PURSUIT Easy as Pie(TM) video game for that market.

Commenting on these most recent approvals, Russ McMeekin, President and Chief Executive Officer stated, "These additional approvals from both Ontario and Mississippi provide us with the ability to provide operators with exciting and new games for their casino patrons. Representing the second and fourth game approvals per jurisdiction respectively within the last six months, we will continue to aggressively pursue additional game approvals for these lucrative markets."
