30 October 2009

ROMULUS, Michigan -- A casino in the Upper Peninsula town of Romulus has once again been proposed by a group of American Indians, according to the Detroit Free Press.

The development, resubmitted by the Hannahville Indian Community, would include a 200-room hotel and retail space, the Free Press reports.

Ken Meshigaud, chairman of the Hannahville community, was confident that the $300 million project will be approved, according to the Free Press.
