The winning ticket was purchased at Mama's Pizzeria & Party Store, 48909 Jefferson Ave., in Chesterfield, at 8:08 p.m. on January 30, 2001 for that evening's Big Game drawing. This ticket matched all six winning numbers in Tuesday night's Big Game drawing: 5, 17, 22, 39, 40 and Big Money Ball number 30. ``We are absolutely thrilled that a Michigan resident won the Big Game jackpot,'' Lottery Commissioner Don Gilmer said. ``I am looking forward to awarding the lucky individual holding the winning ticket his or her prize very soon!'' While the announced jackpot for the January 30, 2001 Big Game drawing was $107 million, the Lottery player who purchased the lucky ticket chose to receive his or her winnings in one lump-sum payment for an estimated $57.7 million, the present cash value of the jackpot before taxes. In addition to the sole jackpot winner, four more lucky individuals in Michigan matched the first five winning numbers in Tuesday's drawing, earning each of them a $150,000 prize. Those winning tickets were sold at the following Michigan Lottery retailers: Dellys Party Store, 15910 W. 7 Mile Road, in Detroit Hardings Market #397, 1000 E. Cork St., in Kalamazoo Mac's Pipe & Liquor Inc., 207 S. Washington Sq., in Lansing Ryan Express, 22021 Ryan Road, in Warren When the winners of both the jackpot and the $150,000 prizes are ready to collect their winnings, they need to contact the Lottery's Public Relations division at 517-373-1237. All of these winners will be required to travel to Lottery headquarters in Lansing to collect their prize winnings. Michigan Lottery on-line prizes are valid for a period of one year from the draw date. Therefore, the jackpot winner and the $150,000 winners have until the close of business on Wednesday, January 30, 2002 to claim their prizes. If Michigan Lottery prizes are not claimed within the one-year period, they revert to the state School Aid Fund. In the case of a Big Game prize, in which all Big Game states have contributed to funding the prize, Michigan's allotted share of the prize money will be transferred to the School Aid Fund.
