MGM National Harbor ready to launch sports betting7 December 2021Sports betting is coming to Maryland in grand fashion. Pending regulatory approval, MGM National Harbor and BetMGM will accept the state’s first sports wagers on Thursday, 9 December at 12:30 p.m. Joined by Governor Larry Hogan and Washington Football Legend Joe Theismann, media are invited to capture the occasion inside MGM National Harbor’s marquee sports betting destination, the BetMGM Sportsbook & Lounge. The 8,000 square-foot sportsbook will be home to 17 betting kiosks and seven betting windows. Once inside, fans experience a 110-foot wraparound screen, extending the length of the space. The BetMGM Sportsbook & Lounge will be one of three staffed sports betting locations at MGM National Harbor joining TAP Sports Bar (four kiosks; four betting windows) and Level Two of the casino (10 kiosks; five betting windows). The BetMGM Sportsbook & Lounge offers a variety of seating from recliners and stadium seats to VIP banquettes.
