MGM MIRAGE Announces Development of E-Marketplace Powered by PurchasePro

LAS VEGAS, Nevada --(Press Release)--Nov. 14, 2000--MGM MIRAGE(TM), an entertainment, hotel, and gaming company, announced today the development of an e-marketplace that will aggregate the company's procurement spend and connect its 18 casino properties to more than 30,000 businesses worldwide.

The MGM MIRAGE marketplace will be powered by PurchasePro (Nasdaq:PPRO), a leading enabler of business-to-business e-commerce solutions for companies of all sizes.

The MGM MIRAGE marketplace will also extend the company's diversity reach, enhancing accessibility to minority and women-owned businesses. MGM MIRAGE marketplace members will connect to a network of more than 7,000 national women and minority-owned businesses, enabling the company to purchase goods and services in the e-commerce industry's only complete buyside/sellside solution.
