Mega Millions Jackpot Rises

UNITED STATES – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Even though there was no jackpot winner in Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing, a lot of players still walked away winners. With nine different ways to win, a total of 344,149 tickets won prizes in the July 25 drawing. That includes two tickets that each won $250,000. Since no ticket matched all six numbers to take home the jackpot, that jackpot grows to an estimated $23 million for the Friday, July 28, 2006 drawing.

The winning numbers in Tuesday's drawing were: 7-21-24-41-51 and the Mega Ball number was 10.

Mega Millions is played in 12 states: California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.

Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00 PM Eastern Time, 10:00 PM Central Time and 8:00 PM Pacific Time.
