Meet the New Genius of Blackjack, Dan Pronovost

Want to meet the new shining star of the blackjack world? He'll be teaching a seminar and giving hands-on blackjack advice at Frank Scoblete's Gamblers Jamboree at Casino Windsor, minutes from Detroit, on May 21 and 22. The young man's name is Dan Pronovost, mathematician and software developer.

The world of blackjack has had many shining stars, Ed Thorp, the father of modern card counting; Stanford Wong, the popularizer of the hi-lo count; Peter Griffin, the mathematician who discovered many of blackjack's secrets; Henry Tamburin, who brought proper blackjack play to the masses, best-selling author Frank Scoblete and a host of other notables. Then into the blackjack room walked a thin, somewhat hyper young man ("A true genius," according to Henry Tamburin) who has turned practical blackjack play on its head.
