MDI & Florida Lottery to Hit the Highway with Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Game24 January 2001HARTFORD, Conneticut--(Press Release)--Jan. 24, 2001--The Florida Lottery will kickstart its spring lineup of games with a roaring Harley-Davidson motorcycle promotion, MDI Entertainment, Inc., (NASDAQ SC:LTRY) announced today. It is the 27th Harley-Davidson licensed lottery promotion conducted by MDI in North America. The world famous American-made motorcycles and exclusive Harley-Davidson (NYSE:HDI) licensed merchandise will be featured as prizes in the game. The Lottery plans to generate more than $14 million in gross revenue through the sale of $7.5 million tickets. The promotion features 10 Sportster Custom motorcycles and more than 1800 prize packages of official Harley-Davidson merchandise, including the much-sought-after Harley-Davidson pocket watch, blanket, leather cap and T-shirt. The game's top cash prize will be $10,000, and tickets are $2 each. ``Florida has one of the most highly regarded lotteries in the industry and we are honored to be able to bring the incomparable Harley-Davidson brand to its millions of lottery players,'' said Steve Saferin, President and CEO of MDI. ``With two of the biggest Harley fan events in the world held annually at Daytona, Bike Week and Biketoberfest, Florida is definitely Harley country,'' he added.
