"…The 57-year-old [Andy]Kampe bought his winning ticket at Albertson's in Half Moon Bay. He spent $20 dollars on Friday, all on quick-picks. He didn't even watch the numbers drawn Saturday night. "…Kampe's ticket is one of three that hit the record-setting jackpot. Each holder will receive a lump sum of $64.3 million dollars before taxes. But so far the other two winners haven't stepped forward. "So what are the Kampes going to do with their newfound wealth? "`I think we're going to go on vacation,' said Amanda Kampe, Andy's daughter. `And I want a Toyota Land Cruiser.' "…As for Andy, he's a self-employed engineer. He plans to fire himself." |
