Man Sentenced for Illegal Gambling Operation

SPRINGFIELD, Massachusetts – As reported by the Associated Press: "A Longmeadow man has been sentenced to nearly three years in prison for his role in an illegal sports gambling and numbers operation.

"Emillion Fusco, 34, was sentenced Friday to 33 months in prison, to be followed by three years' probation and a $25,000 fine, the U.S. Attorney's office said.

"…Prosecutors said Fusco conspired with other associates of a Springfield-area branch of the Genovese crime family to operate illegal gambling businesses…"
