Littlefield Announces Governor's Signature of South Carolina Bingo Bill

25 June 2002

AUSTIN, Texas--(Press Release)-- Littlefield Corporation (Nasdaq:LTFD ) announced today that the Governor of South Carolina has signed S.852 which provides for some meaningful changes in the conduct of charitable bingo in South Carolina.

The Bill provides for the following changes:

1. A "B" bingo hall may operate five days per week.

2. Excess proceeds (nightly proceeds in excess of $8,000) may be averaged over all sessions during a quarter for purposes of determining any amounts owed to the South Carolina Department of Revenue.

3. Charities may conduct special promotional events to support their bingo operations subject to certain monetary limitations.

This is not a comprehensive list.

It is anticipated that the Company's revenues would have been greater and that its overhead would have been lower had these changes been in effect during any prior financial reporting period.

Jeffrey L Minch, the President of Littlefield Corporation offered the following:

"This Press Release simply reports the Governor's signature of the Bill that was previously reported in an earlier Press Release. The changes will be favorable to the Company in its future operations."
