Las Vegas Style Resort Proposed for Yarmouth, UK

YARMOUTH, United Kingdom – As reported by the UK Evening News: "It looks like it belongs on the Las Vegas strip – but this spectacular proposed hotel and casino could be set to give Yarmouth seafront its biggest boost for decades.

"Plans for the multi-million-pound complex could bring a jackpot of thousands of extra visitors and up to 300 jobs to the resort if it approved by planning chiefs.

"Hotelier Rodney Scott and amusement centre entrepreneur Colin Abbott, who are behind the plans, have already turned the former Goode's Hotel into Caesars Palace, a popular seafront nightspot.

"Now the pair have formed a company called Towering Leisure and bought the Tower Complex on Marine Parade.

"They plan spend £5m (US$7.7 million) to turn it into a 60-room four-star Atlantis hotel, entertainment and shopping complex by refurbishing the building inside and out.

"There will be a casino and restaurant area of between 20,000 and 35,000 sq ft, an American diner and coffee shop opening on to Marine Parade, 10 shops, family amusements with the latest games and technology, a 120ft high viewing gallery and parking for 60 cars…"
