Joseph Eve CPAs brings expertise to conference

6 September 2016

(PRESS RELEASE) -- JOSEPH EVE CPAs is recognized across the U.S. as leading authorities in the field of anti-money laundering, and now the firm is bringing its expertise and web-based Title 31 training program JE University to ACAMS 15th Annual AML & Financial Crime Conference.

ACAMS (Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists) is producing the conference 26-28 September at Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, and JOSEPH EVE will be in booth #118.

"The U.S. Treasury Department and its FinCEN division are incredibly serious in holding casinos of all sized accountable for Title 31/AML compliance and training. Tribal and commercial casino operators need to take these issues just as seriously, as non-compliance could result in steep fines and/or other penalties," said JOSEPH EVE Partner Grant Eve. "We are here to continue assisting casino, and we are excited to lend our knowledge and insights to the ACAMS Conference."

JOSEPH EVE conducts Title 31/AML training seminars across the U.S. each year. Additionally, to help casinos of all sizes maintain Title 31 compliance and satisfy training requirements, JOSEPH EVE created JE University, a web-based training program. JE University empowers casino staff to stay constantly abreast of compliance issues and maintain adherence to evolving regulatory compliance training requirements.

With JE University, every department in the casino is trained on compliance issues relating to anti-money laundering as required by varying laws and regulations. Because the training is automated, the system conducts tests and automatically sends notifications when re-testing is due, helping to guarantee compliance.

The firm recently welcomed three casinos to its growing list of JE University clients: Coyote Valley Casino in Red Valley, Calif., Kla-Mo-Ya Casino in Chiloquin, Ore., and Caravelle Hotel & Casino in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands.

For more information on Title 31, JE University or any of the many services JOSPEH EVE provides, visit the website and join the firm online on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
