Intertops.com Offers $1 Million in Free NFL Contest28 August 2000Intertops.com, a sports betting site in St. John's, Antigua, today announced a free handicapping contest with a $1 million grand prize. The winner has to predict the winners of every game in the first week of the NFL's new season. The catch is that the 15 winning teams also must cover their point spreads. The competition is free and selections can be changed up until the pool closes at 11:00 a.m. EDT on September 3, 2000, two hours before the first NFL games begin. In addition to the $1 million grand prize, Intertops.com is also offering ten $1,000 cash prizes for customers who complete the best spread pool forms. To enter, contestants must submit a completed form, including a tie-breaker, at www.intertops.com/sportsbook/cgi-win-2/itwww.exe?page=pools. There are 14 games Sunday and one on Monday night. Intertops says it's the first site to offer a risk-free shot at a $1 million cash prize for perfect handicapping on opening weekend. |
