IGT Wins Top Nevada Tech Award

LAS VEGAS -- International Game Technology of Reno, the world's largest slot machine maker, Saturday was named eCompany of the year at the Technology Business Alliance of Nevada's 2002 eNevada Awards in Las Vegas.

The awards recognize individuals and firms for advancing high technology in Nevada.

Also honored were:

-Michael Bosma, senior manager and technology industry practice leader at Grant Thornton LLP, eLeader of the year

-Anthony Cabot, an attorney at Lionel Sawyer & Collins, Catalyst of the year

- Pearl Brewer of UNLV, Educator of the year

- Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman, Outstanding Public Official of the year

-VEGAS.com, Most Innovative Large Company (B2B) Business-2-Business/ (B2C) Business-2-Consumer website in Nevada. (VEGAS.com is a sister company to the Las Vegas Sun)

-Flowers2U, Most Innovative Small Company B2B/B2C website in Nevada

- Hard Rock hotel-casino, Most Innovative Casino/Gaming Website

- State of Nevada, Secretary of State Dean Heller, Most Innovative Governmental Website
