iGGBA to Hold AGM18 January 2005UK -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- On 27 January 2005, iGGBA will hold its 4th Annual General Meeting. The meeting will be held from 10:00 – 13:00 in the Cromwell Room, Earl's Court, London in association with the ICE-I exhibition. The audience will be drawn from its general membership as well as associated guests. The morning programme will feature speakers Sarah Thomas of the Department of Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) who will speak about the developments of the UK Gambling Bill as it relates to remote gambling, as well as Nigel Payne, CEO of Sportingbet, who in his speech will consider the commercial future of the remote gambling market. Following the morning programme, the Association will elect a new iGGBA Council and the new Chairman as well as cover major topical issues affecting the industry. IGGBA Director Wes Himes states, "This is tremendous time for the remote gambling industry with the UK draft Gambling Bill in full flow and the EU Services Directive making its way through the European Parliament. We will be touching on this issues and welcome guests who want to see what iGGBA is all about."
