Horse Racing Machines Surprise For Malaysian Gov't Officials29 September 2000MALAYSIA – Sept. 29, 2000 –As reported by Yahoo!Asia: "Finance Ministry officials keen to impress the media on the extent of the illegal video gambling machines problems in the country were themselves bowled over when they stumbled on a new type of electronic horse racing machine. "They found 18 terminals linked to a big video screen, which some of them described as not found in the Genting Highlands Casino - they should know after all they provide the licenses. "…Finance Ministry public relations officer Ahmad Azmi Arifin said the Ministry was getting involved as it was the authority which issued gaming licenses in the country.
