Harrah's Studying Ways to Rebuild Lake Charles Casinos

BATON ROUGE, Louisiana -- As reported by the Associated Press: "Harrah's Entertainment is considering several ways to rebuild its two damaged casino boats in Lake Charles, including possibly building a larger, single casino using both gambling licenses on one site.

"Anthony Sanfilippo, president of Harrah's central division, told the state Gaming Control Board today that the company would present its master plan for the Lake Charles riverboats in February after getting approval from its own corporate board. Any changes to the gambling sites would need approval from the Gaming Control Board..."
