Harrah's Northern California now hiring12 February 2019(PRESS RELEASE) -- Harrah's Northern California, a new 71,000-square-foot entertainment destination set in beautiful Amador County, will fill more than 400 full-time positions in preparation for opening this spring. The new casino property is filling a variety of roles including positions in gaming operations, human resources, marketing, administration, information technology, environmental services, front services, security and more. Hiring will take place over the next several months. Additionally, Harrah’s Northern California is seeking to hire and train table games dealers. Dealer applicants will receive training during an eight-week course beginning Monday, 18 February. The arrival of the Harrah’s brand to the Northern California gaming market has been highly anticipated. As one of Caesars Entertainment’s premier gaming brands, guests will benefit from the casino’s affiliation with Caesars Entertainment’s award-winning loyalty program, Caesars Rewards. Harrah’s Northern California players will earn Caesars Rewards’ member privileges and preferred access to Caesars’ resorts and amenities in Lake Tahoe, Las Vegas and beyond. Just as Harrah’s Northern California guests will reap rewards from the casino’s partnership with Caesars Entertainment, employees will also benefit from affiliation with the larger gaming conglomerate. New hires will work alongside seasoned gaming professionals and have the opportunity to engage with industry veterans across Caesars’ national network of casino properties. “A career in gaming is not only exciting, it offers a lot of opportunity for personal development and advancement,” said Vigi Austin, human resources director. “In addition, Harrah’s Northern California provides competitive packages and a great working environment. We are seeking highly-motivated and upbeat individuals to join our team.” Harrah’s Northern California expects to attract employees from Amador County and beyond. Property leadership believe the casino’s unique location at the nexus between the Central Valley, Greater Sacramento area and Sierra Nevada, coupled with easy accessibility from the Highway 99 corridor, make Harrah’s Northern California an attractive employment opportunity for job seekers across the region. “A new casino opening always brings economic opportunity,” said JC Rieger, Harrah’s Northern California Senior Vice President and General Manager. “We expect Amador County to benefit from the creation of new jobs and services and, given our unique footprint, expect other areas of the region to benefit as well.”
