Handicapper challenges SuperiorBook

UNITED STATES – (PRESS RELEASE) -- After another weekend of the NFL season, handicapper Charles Jay has a little catching up to do in his $1 Million Sports Betting Challenge against SuperiorBook. But he doesn't think that will be very much of a problem.

"We re-tooled our strategy and made up for a tough Saturday with a pretty good weekend in the NFL," Jay says. "Actually, it started early Sunday morning when I had the 'over' in the Hawaii-Idaho game and ended with a big play on New England over the Minnesota Vikings on Monday night."

Coming into the current football weekend, Jay stands at $985,310 in the Challenge - a unique competition in which he started with a million-dollar bankroll, and will continue to play at SuperiorBook, availing himself of the vast number of wagering options the sportsbook has to offer, until one side has won a million dollars from the other.

Since Jay has been a winning sports handicapper for over a decade and a half, he can easily see himself coming out on the positive side. Doubling his bankroll, however, presents a particular challenge-within-a-challenge.

"You've got to exercise some discipline and have patience," he says. "You can't win it all in one fell swoop. You've got to resign yourself to the fact that you've got to grind it out and stick to a plan. I got a little too overzealous the first couple of weeks and wanted to put too much action on the board. But I've made some adjustments that will get this ship going in the right direction."

The $1 Million SuperiorBook Sports Betting Challenge is a simulation which is being conducted for promotional and educational purposes. Toward that end, Jay is keeping a regular diary of his progress, analyzing why he won or lost and in general taking the reader through the trials and tribulations of a serious sports handicapper.
