Gunman Allegedly Robs Trump Plaza28 July 2003ATLANTIC CITY - As reported by the Press of Atlantic City: ``A gunman allegedly robbed Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino on Sunday, although state and city police did not immediately release any details. ``It was the second armed robbery reported at a casino in three days. On Friday, a gunman allegedly passed a note to a casino cashier at 12:58 a.m. at Bally's Atlantic City and made off with between $1,000 and $10,000. ``In the most recent alleged robbery, a black man in his mid-20s with a thin goatee wearing a gray shirt, tan fisherman's hat and carrying a black gym bag with a Philadelphia Eagles logo brandished a weapon at a Trump Plaza employee on the casino floor, according to police radio reports. The Press of Atlantic City does not know if the alleged robber made off with any money. ``...Police have not charged anyone with either robbery..." |
