Grab.com Offers Billion Dollar Lottery3 October 2000NEW YORK-- Oct. 3, 2000 – Grab.com is launching its Billion Dollar Sweepstakes. The game is a 7/77 lottery and there is no entry fee. The ball draw will take place on December 29, 2000. The contests began on October 1st and will run until 11:59p.m. (ET) on December 26, 2000. Contestants can pick their numbers on Grab.com's website. There are two ways to play: -Manual Number Selection where players select seven different numbers from the range of one to seventy or; -Random Computer Selection the computer program will randomly select seven different numbers. The prize is underwritten by National Indemnity Company, a member of the Berkshire Hathaway family of insurance companies. Deloitte & Touche is auditing the game. Contestants must also register as a member by completing all required fields on the Site registration form and following the instructions on the page. By becoming a member contestants will be agreeing to receive e-mail from time to time from Grab.com. Contestants may opt-out of the receipt of e-mail by following the instructions in the e-mail or on the web site. |
