GameTech Announces Successful Relocation To New Reno Headquarters Facility21 September 2000RENO, Nevada – (Press Release) -- Sept. 21, 2000 -- GameTech International, Inc. (Nasdaq: GMTC) today announced that it has successfully completed the move into its new headquarters facility in Reno. Previously, the company was headquartered in Tempe, Arizona with a major operations facility in Carson City, Nevada. Richard Fedor, chairman and chief executive officer, stated that the company expects to realize substantial benefits from the centralization of operations in the new Reno facility. ``The move allows us to consolidate all of our operations in one place,'' he said, ``and achieve improved internal communications and other operating efficiencies. Reno provides us with a well-trained, highly capable labor pool, as well as convenient access to Reno-Tahoe International Airport.'' GameTech's headquarters and principal operations are now housed in a 40,000 square foot facility located in the South Meadows business park. The company also announced that the United States District Court for the District of Arizona has approved and signed the settlement of the securities class action lawsuit brought against the company. ``We are pleased that this matter has been fully and finally resolved,'' Fedor commented. ``The financial impact to the company was limited to $200,000, representing the deductible from the company's corporate liability insurance policy.'' |
