Gamecraft Approved to Manufacture and Distribute in Mississippi

27 September 2000

HUNTINGTON BEACH, California – (Press Release) -- Sept. 27, 2000 -- Gamecraft, Inc., developer of Heads Up Poker and the new GC 2000 platform, has received approval from the Mississippi Gaming Commission to manufacture and distribute gaming machines in the state.

Heads Up Poker won the Gold Medal at the American Gaming, Lodging & Leisure Summit in Las Vegas earlier this year and was selected as one of the ``Top 20 Most Innovative Gaming Products'' by the Casino Journal Publishing Group.

The GC2000 is a Pentium II powered gaming platform that enables significantly faster game development. It also dramatically simplifies maintenance through unique pull-and-replace component features.

``This is a major step in the company's development,'' said Paul C. Myhre, Gamecraft's President & CEO. ``All of us involved in the development and marketing of this game over the past years have known we would reach this point one day. Now that it's here, it's very exhilarating and we're confident about the game's future.''

Gamecraft will begin manufacturing the comfortable padded slant top games for casinos throughout Mississippi pending Mississippi Gaming Laboratory approval.

Heads Up Poker, Gamecraft's first game, fills the increasing demand expressed by gaming consumers for greater interactivity. It combines two popular forms of poker in one game. The game gives players a dual opportunity to play traditional video poker while playing the same cards in a one-on-one 5-card draw poker match against the machine.

Myhre said players and the machine can bluff, raise, call, and fold against each other. Action occurs both before and after the draw, resulting in a game that combines skill with luck to challenge and entertain novices and sophisticated gamblers alike.
