Gambling, Porn Excluded from Online Payment Scheme16 August 2002UNITED KINGDOM – As reported by New Media Age: "BT has confirmed that it won't be working with gambling and adult content when it launches its online micropayments scheme, Click&buy, in the next few weeks. "Helen Davis, business director for BT Click&buy, said the scheme, due to launch in September, was open to any content provider that could prove there was value associated with its content. "But she added that, in line with BT's wider position, it wouldn't provide the service for gambling Web sites or pornography providers.
