Gambling Boats Raided By Feds

LITTLE RIVER, South Carolina – As reported by the Associated Press: "Federal agents raided ships and offices of Stardancer Casino Cruises in Florida and South Carolina last week looking for evidence of mail fraud and tax evasion, according to documents filed in federal court.

"…The sweep was orchestrated by the U.S. attorney's office in Toledo, Ohio, where Mark Steven Miller, chief executive of the former Oakwood Deposit Bank Co., was indicted last year on embezzling charges.

"Miller is alleged to have invested much of the $48 million in stolen money in Stardancer…"
