Four Kansas City Casinos Report Increase Revenue, Decreases Patrons

KANSAS CITY, Missouri – As reported by the Kansas City Business Journal: "Four Kansas City-area casinos continued a trend of increased revenue and decreased patrons in May, according to figures the Missouri Gaming Commission released Monday.

"Harrah's North Kansas City Casino had the most revenue in May, with $17.8 million, up 10 percent from $16.3 million last year. Harrah's number of patrons fell 12 percent.

"…Ameristar Kansas City's May revenue was $17.5 million, up 7 percent from $16.4 million a year ago. Patrons decreased 9 percent.

"Isle of Capri had revenue of $8.3 million, up 6 percent from $7.9 million last year. Patrons decreased 7 percent.

"Argosy Casino's May revenue was $8.3 million, up 1 percent from $8.2 million a year ago. Patrons decreased 3 percent…"
