Former Kansas City Police Chief Tapped to Lead State's Gaming Commission2 July 2003MISSOURI – As reported by the Kansas City Star: ``Former Kansas City Police Chief Floyd O. Bartch has been appointed by Gov. Bob Holden as chairman of the Missouri Gaming Commission. ``Bartch was appointed to the commission in July 2002. He was a 31-year veteran of the Kansas City Police Department. He became chief in 1996 and retired from the force in 1999. ``Bartch for several years oversaw the Police Department's budget. He holds a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and a master's degree in sociology from Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg…” |
