Former Governor Joins Las Vegas Sands Inc. Board of Directors

During List's distinguished political career, he served as Governor of Nevada from 1979 to 1983, and Nevada Attorney General from 1973 to 1979. He has been a presidential appointee to the Commission on the National Policy Towards Gambling and served on the U.S. Air Force Academy Board of Visitors.

After leaving public office, List was managing shareholder of the law firm Beckley, Singleton, DeLanoy, Jemison & List in Reno, and has served on the board of directors of several companies including Game Data Inc., Cole Industries Inc., First Interstate Bank of Nevada, Clark and Sullivan Constructors Inc. and Boomtown Inc.

In 1993, List received the medal of honor from Hastings College of Law, where he received a J.D. degree in 1962. List is currently Chief Executive Officer of The Robert List Company.
