Football's Feuding Couples17 October 2005SAN JOSE, Costa Rica -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- According to new odds posted today by Betmaker - one of the most trusted online sports books, and a veteran in the gambling industry – bad boy WR's Randy Moss, Keyshawn Johnson, Terrell Owens, and Chad Johnson are the favorites to lead their dysfunctional relationships with their quarterbacks to the boiling point. Keyshawn is the favorite to have a WR / QB blowout with snap-taker Drew Bledsoe at 8 to 1. The odds are most likely indicative of last week's "discussion" about Johnson's inability to hold onto the football. The heat was turned up on that "discussion" rather quickly, and we can only sit around and wonder when the boiling will begin. Talented, but sometimes misguided WR Terrell Owens is the second favorite. Although his relationship with QB Donovan McNabb was supposedly repaired after TO's holdout and a fascinating war of words dating back to last year's Super Bowl, Betmaker still feels that Donovan McNabb and Terrell Owens' relationship is stuck together with little more than chewing gum. The dysfunctional dynamic duo is listed at 9 to 1 to hit the skids. Rounding out the list of favorites are naughty ball-catchers Randy Moss and Chad Johnson. After a disappointing start to the season, Raiders' "Moon-man" receiver Randy Moss is most likely a little hotheaded, and is listed at 12 to 1 to start some problems with veteran QB Kerry Collins. Chad Johnson has the luck of being on one of the NFL's hottest teams, but will his romance with QB Carson Palmer sour? Betmaker says yes, listing the couple at 12 to 1 to brake up. The list of WR / QB couples that are the least likely to feud shows that success and a level head are ingredients for a good thrower and catcher relationship. The successful combination of Peyton Manning and the humble Marvin Harrison is the least likely to combust, at 35 to 1. They are tied with sophomore sensation Ben Roethlisberger and receiver Hines Ward of Pittsburgh, also at 35 to 1. The cool-headed Tom Brady and Deon Branch come in at 30 to 1, and the Giant combination of Eli Manning and Plaxico Burress are listed at 25 to 1. About Betmaker Since 1996, Betmaker has been serving sports enthusiasts in practically every sport and on every continent by providing them with an unrivalled wagering and casino experience.
