Excelsior Gaming to Develop and Manage California Indian Casino

14 June 2000

WILLIMANTIC, Conn.--(Press Release)--June 14, 2000--Bruce Einhorn, Chairman & CEO of Excelsior Gaming, LLC, a national gaming development and management firm specializing in Native American gaming operations, announced today that it has entered into an agreement with the Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana to develop and manage a Casino for the Blue Lake Rancheria near Eureka, California.

``The Coushatta own one of the largest and most profitable Indian casinos in the country and with the explosive market in California right now we are glad to be there with such a powerful partner'' said Einhorn.

``The Blue Lake Rancheria has an excellent location in Northern California and has been waiting a long time for this project to happen. We are all optimistic about a prosperous outlook for the future,'' said Coushatta Tribal Council member Bertney Langley.

Excelsior continues to have an interest in the Pala Band of Mission Indians casino project in southern California. While Excelsior has had an ongoing relationship with the Pala Band since 1996, Jerry Turk and Anchor Gaming now spearhead the project's development and will undertake casino management responsibilities upon the opening of the facility.
