Everest Poker signs Italian pro

MONTREAL, Quebec – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Everest Poker today announced that it had just inked a sponsorship deal with Italian poker pro Cristiano Blanco. In addition to sponsoring Blanco at tournaments across Europe, the poker room will also give players the chance to play online poker against him in informal games as well as get poker tips and tricks through Blanco's blog.

"Cristiano's star is rising and Everest Poker's very happy to offer him the chance to shine," said Jonathan May, Everest Poker property manager. "He's a player who's just starting to see his skill really paying off at the poker table."

The Everest Poker-sponsored player will be participating in poker events across Europe in the next several months, including tournaments in San Remo, St Vincent, Campioni, and Venice. Blanco will also be playing at the upcoming Italian Championship event as well as The World Series of Poker Side Event held on 30 June, 2007.
