English player sent to WPT9 November 2006ENGLAND – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Piers Shepperson from the town of Slough in the southeast of England will represent online poker room Titan Poker at the upcoming World Poker Finals, being held between November 11 and 14 at the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut. Shepperson won his seat at the second of Titan Poker's World Poker Tour "Pick Your Tournament" series. The World Poker Tour "Pick Your Tournament" series of Super Satellite tournaments awards skillful players with seats at upcoming World Poker Tour tournaments being held across the United States. This unique tournament series offers winners a $12,000 package to one of these upcoming poker events, allowing the player to choose the date and destination. Shepperson (nickname BlindWombat) is the second Titan Poker player to win a World Poker Tour "Pick Your Tournament." He had been playing at Titan Poker for less than a year when he won the tournament, and this is the first time that he will ever play in the World Poker Tour. "I feel really great about winning the World Poker Tour 'Pick Your Tournament.' I am very keen to play in a WPT Tournament for the first time and represent Titan Poker at such an exciting event." Titan Poker players have three more chances to 'pick' their seat at the World Poker Tour, with three remaining Satellites coming up over the next few months.
