Eight companies with Swedish license receive penalty fee1 July 2019(PRESS RELEASE) -- Gambling companies with a Swedish license must not offer betting on events or events where the majority of participants are under 18 years of age. In its supervision, the Gaming Inspectorate has found that a number of licensees violated the legislation in this respect. According to the Gaming Inspectorate's assessment, the provision of betting on events or events where predominantly players are under the age of 18 is a direct danger to minors being exposed to the influence of manipulating results, which in turn leads to negative consequences of gambling. The Gaming Inspectorate considers the violations to be serious and has decided on measures against the following licensees:
