Ebet Looks for Greener Pastures23 September 2001Australian online gambling company Ebet has not let local turmoil affect their business development plans. The company, together with US partner Penn National Gaming, a racetrack and casino operator, plans to corner “an attractive share” of the Internet horse betting market in the States. Penn is currently using Ebet’s system on its new Playboy Internet gambling site. Ebet, optimistic that the market will achieve a total turnover of US$18.7 billion by 2004, recently announced that they are confident of growth “in the near term.” |
