Earnings Flat for Gaming Partners30 March 2005Las Vegas Sun LAS VEGAS -- Revenue climbed but earnings were flat for Las Vegas-based casino equipment supplier Gaming Partners International Corp., the company announced Tuesday. GPI reported fourth-quarter net income of $1.3 million, 16 cents a share, on revenue of $13.2 million for the quarter ended Dec. 31. In the same period a year earlier, the company reported net income of $1.3 million, 18 cents a share, on revenue of $10.9 million. Gerard Charlier, president and chief executive of the company formerly known in Las Vegas as Paul-Son Gaming, said revenue climbed 23.2 percent over last year to $44.6 million for 2004. Charlier said increased sales in Europe by the company's GPI-SAS subisidiary and in Macau bolstered the company's 2004 results. The company is continuing to develop its radio frequency identification table game chip tracking technology. Copyright © Las Vegas Sun. Inc. Republished with permission. |
