E-BIDD.COM Changes Name To XRAYMEDIA.COM30 June 2000SEATTLE--(Press Release)--June 30, 2000-- E-BIDD.COM Inc./XRAYMEDIA.COM INC. (OTCBB:BIDD - news; OTCBB:XRMD - news) is pleased to announce that the Special Meeting of Shareholders of e-bidd.com, Inc., (the ``Corporation'') was held at the offices of Ogden Murphy Wallace, P.L.L.C. at 1601 Fifth Avenue - Suite 2100 in Seattle, on Wednesday, June 28, 2000. The name change to XRAYMEDIA.COM INC., was approved and the symbol has been changed from ``BIDD'' to; NASDAQ-OTCBB: XRMD effective immediately. Shareholders from Holland, Belgium, the U.S. and Canada were in attendance. In his summary address, XRAYMEDIA.COM INC. President and CEO, Raymond C. Dabney brought shareholders up to date on the company's recent activities. He noted that XRAYMEDIA.COM INC. has made progress in pursuing its expanded business model to encompass all aspects of the media business. Namely, instead of simply pursuing banner auctions, XRAYMEDIA.COM INC., expects to use the Internet to offer web design, logo design, public relations, media buying and selling, corporate image, video conferencing and auctions through a proprietary auction video streaming technology. He noted that XRAYMEDIA.COM, INC., now has an income stream, and is servicing a number of clients for web design, logo design, print advertising production and public relations services. Mr. Dabney noted that the company had added media servicing capability and capacity through its affiliations with such entities as Miller Advertising, Meir Kahtan Public Relations and Adgraphics, among others. Mr. Dabney also noted that over 100 potential clients and investors had registered on the site, and that the company's marketing and sales department was actively pursuing each lead. Additionally, he said that the company is intends to open an office in Europe in order to capitalize on the demand for U.S. and Canadian web expertise in an environment that will shortly be seeing huge growth in the Internet and e-commerce. Mr. Dabney also explained that the nature of the Board-approved name change encompassed the newly defined mission of the company - that XRAYMEDIA was a name that contained the idea of pinpointing and targeting specific client needs for the media, the ability to penetrate the complex and layered world of media buying, pricing, placement and targeting. In response to questions from shareholders, Mr. Dabney stated that the company has hired media and technology experts who are also responsible for hiring other media and technology employees. This way, he would be able to focus his energies on raising new capital. He also updated the shareholders about his having set up a New York office at 71 Fifth Avenue, NYC 10003, noting that technology services and design would be concentrated in Vancouver and sales, operations and client servicing would come out of New York. |
