Disabled Lottery Vendors to Petition King25 March 2003THAILAND – As reported by the Bangkok Post: "Disabled lottery vendors will appeal to His Majesty the King for help if the government rejects their demands to cancel the proposed installation of online lottery machines. "The Government Lottery Office has already started selling application forms to people interested in operating its vending machines, which disabled vendors fear will rob them of income. "More than 100 protesters from the National Council of Disabled Lottery Vendors gathered outside Government House on Monday to demand the government order GLO to give them more benefits.
