Director of South Africa's Lottery Resigns

SOUTH AFRICA – South Africa IOL: "Victor Dlamini, public affairs director for national lottery operators Uthingo, has resigned his post amid claims that he was being pushed out.

"Sources claimed that Dlamini, a former Independent Electoral Commission spokesperson and media director of the 2006 soccer World Cup bid campaign, had been forced to resign - but both he and Uthingo have vehemently denied this.

"He said that in terms of his employment contract, he had to give a full calendar month's notice.

"…Uthingo chief executive officer Humphrey Khoza confirmed that Dlamini had resigned, saying it was of his own accord, but would continue to work for Uthingo until April 15…"
