Diamond I Offer Less Invasive System29 August 2006LAS VEGAS, Nevada –- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Diamond I, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: DMOI), a developer of wireless gaming products, including the WifiCasino(TM) wireless hand-held gaming system, today noted that, as an offshoot of the Nevada Gaming Commission's recent approval of a mobile gaming license for one of the company's competitors, the issue of consumers' acceptance of biometric security measures necessary to the use of wireless gambling devices arose. "The GS2 is designed to prevent the invasion of customers' privacy. They will not be required to have their fingerprints 'on file' at their favorite casinos," said David Loflin, Diamond I's CEO. "Our design will allow customers complete control over their fingerprints throughout their enjoying our GS2." Diamond I further noted that gaming industry discourse during recent months appeared to have moved wireless gambling into the industry's mainstream. "That the discussion surrounding licensing of wireless gambling participants includes whether gamblers find biometric security invasive demonstrates just how quickly wireless gambling has become a part of the 'Vegas' lexicon," stated Mr. Loflin. "As an early participant in this new industry, we are extremely encouraged by the way the wireless gambling appears to be gaining momentum." Diamond I's handheld gaming unit, the GS2(TM) is the first of Diamond I's products to embody the technologies that are the subject of the published patent application. The GS2 is the hand-held component of the company's WifiCasino gaming system. |
