Daily Racing Form's Official 2000 Breeders' Cup Advance Edition Hits Outlets

The Advance Edition will cost $5.

For the third consecutive year, purchasers of DRF's Breeders' Cup Advance Edition also will have a chance to enter the Daily Racing Form $5 Million Breeders' Cup Ultra Pick 6 Sweepstakes, sponsored by Breeders' Cup Ltd..

The Advance edition will contain a sweepstakes entry form, which must be receive by 2:00 p.m. EST on Tuesday, October 31, for the chance to win a $10,000 betting voucher for the $5 million Breeders' Cup Ultra Pick 6.

"This year's Advance Edition will be the most comprehensive and informative issue ever," said Steven Crist, editor and publisher of Daily Racing Form. "We will incorporate all the recent handicapping enhancements into this annual edition. It's a must-read for devoted players and racing fans."

The comprehensive 90-plus page issue is an invaluable tool for most handicappers looking to assess the eight Breeders' Cup races in advance of the 17th running of "Racing's Greatest Day."

Handicappers will be afforded complete lifetime past performances and Beyer Speed Figures for all pre-entered horses, as well as the earliest morning line and graded handicap, from DRF's national handicapper, Mike Watchmaker. Both Trainer Form and the Tomlinson Ratings, two recently-added handicapping features to DRF, will also be incorporated into the Advance Edition.

In addition, for the second straight season, the Advance will include Timeform Ratings, the European ratings system based on speed and class for all races run in Britain, Ireland, France and the UAE.

The Advance also will include official charts of all previous 16 Breeders' Cup events as well as the charts of key prep races leading up to this year's championhip day at Churchill Downs on November 4, plus handicapping features by Steven Crist, Dave Litfin and Mike Watchmaker.
